* Newsflash - wedding packages and prices for 2008 have now been released. Please check the details and inquire with your dates as I am now taking bookings for the 2008 season.

* I’m always interested in shooting new people on a TFCD basis, but please bear in mind that as I am very busy, these opportunities are limited and that I always need a model release signing. Please e-mail if interested to dg@duncanevans.co.uk. Please don’t just mail and ask me if I have any work.

* I have had three photographic books  published last year. Firstly, A Guide to Extreme Lighting Conditions in Digital Photography by AVA. Then, Digital Photography Workshops: Portraits and Digital Photography Workshops: Nudes for RotoVision. A third title for RotoVision is as yet unpublished. Meanwhile, I am now working on a new book for AVA.

* After last years Gallery update things need freshening up again so I will be doing that over the coming weeks.

* I have moved from Northumberland to Barton upon Humber in North Lincolnshire and currently am available to service everywhere on the east coast from Edinburgh to Newcastle, Middlesborough to Hull and even down to Lincoln. Don’t forget though, that I know Northumberland and the Borders very well and am always happy to shoot weddings there.

* Finally, can’t really forget to mention that the site has a new design as well.

* As all my lighting kit and background is portable, professional portraits can be done in your own home with a formal setting, or as an informal, lifestyle orientated photo-shoot.

* I’ve changed from the Fuji system to the Nikon D200 which is excellent.

* The house moving program that my family took part in was called Safe as Houses and was transmitted in England on the 28th April 2004, and went out in Scotland on the 5th May 2004. We had the BBC film crew with us on and off for 7 months, recording the drama. It gets repeated every so often on the Sky channels. It was, predictably, a dumbed-down version of events.
