 Published and on sale in July. The last in the series of Comprehensive Guides from AVA deals with the extremes of lighting conditions. It explains what to shoot and how to shoot it, with some fantastic images from all around the world. In my opinion, this is the best looking book of the entire series.

 Part of the Comprehensive series of high quality, softback books. The publisher, Brian, set the bar impossibly high for this book. He wanted glamour photography that would sit happily in everything from FHM to Vogue. Amazingly, we achieved it, with some great contributors.

 My first book for AVA and a best seller as I explained the ins and out of shooting portraits with a digital camera. This is still a very good reference book for anyone wanting to get started in digital, as the entire book was written from the perspective of, and for, digital camera users - unlike most books at this time.
Digital Photo User (1999-2003)
I put this here because it is relevant, though not a book. I was the Editor of Digital Photo User magazine for four and a half years, and witnessed and wrote about the rise of digital photography from an expensive novelty to the all-conquering format it is today. We had a name change along the way, becoming Digital Photography Buyer & User.
